FREE WEBINAR: SELF-CARE FOR STRESS & ANXIETY Drawing from Traditional Chinese Medicine, mindfulness, somatics, and other approaches, this workshop provides simple tools for individuals and their loved ones facing cancer to cope with the stress and anxiety that can come with a cancer diagnosis. Participants will walk away with a broader toolkit for safe, non-pharmaceutical methods to support their bodies, minds and spirits through the cancer journey.

Presenter: Pauline Sok Yin Hwang is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Registered Acupuncturist (R.TCMP, R.Ac, B.Sc. M.Med), and the founder of Hillgreen Oncology Acupuncture & Herbs. She is a member of the Society of Integrative Oncology and has published research papers in integrative cancer care. She uses herbs, acupuncture, nutrition, mindfulness, and coaching in her clinical practice with cancer patients. Pauline has 20 years experience and facilitator training in Vipassana or mindfulness meditation. She has led mindfulness courses and coached people in implementing mindfulness in their daily routines. She also has basic training in somatic practices for nervous system regulation.
Pauline has been active in community health for over 30 years, and is passionate about providing 2SLGBTQ+ positive and trauma-informed health care. In addition to her Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture diplomas, Pauline has an Honours Bachelor in Cognitive Neuroscience from McGill University and a Master’s of Medicine in Integrative Oncology from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine.
